Burleigh #3
Keeping it simple yet elegant was the philosophy behind this design. The brief was to create a family urban garden that could be used for entertainment and take advantage of the elevated aspect overlooking protected habitat.
The design takes into account the large level variation across the site and aims to minimise the earthworks required to achieve an impressively beautiful space. Utilising common materials such as concrete sleeper walls combined with repurposed feature bricks walls that tie back to the home and add a fresh, modern aesthetic.
The circular seating comprises of crisp honed concrete and holds a wood fire burner, tidily integrated with textural bluestone setts in a radial formation.
