To commemorate Queen Alia of Jordan in 1977. The Jordanian Royal family under the patronage of Princess Haya wanted to refurbish the existing memorial located at the crash site on the outskirts of Amman.
The redesign of this prestigious monument included was a new entry gate and station with sculptural ‘olive gate’ which reference the local olive plantations that surround the site.
